A stunning handmade patchwork quilt handcrafted with 100% French Chambray cloth hand blocked printed in France from C17th and C18th century designs taken from historic archives. The Evening Star quilt design dates from the mid to late 1800s which Jennifer has re-interpreted into this beautiful contemporary design. The filling is made from bamboo and cotton which makes this quilt environmentally friendly and breathable and so will aid a good nights sleep. This luxury quilt has been expertly crafted with double fold binding for extra durability which has been hand stitched and with beautiful mitred corners for a superb professional finish. Available in various sizes including bespoke sizes for a custom fit. Perfect as a decorative throw during the day or as an extra layer and is reversible. The Evening Star quilt pattern is one of the earliest quilt blocks and dates from the early 1800s. Often quilt patterns were named after someone famous or to make a political statement. The Evening Star is also known as Abraham Lincoln's star and Sawtooth Star.
